Sunny Leone is from a Sikh family. She was born on May 13, 1981 in Sarnia, Canada. Her family moved to California when she was 14 years old. She has American and Canadian citizenship.

Was she planning to become a model?

No. Sunny Leone was studying to become a nurse. She worked at a German bakery and at a tax retirement firm before entering into the Adult industry. She is often blamed as someone who is ruining the Indian culture. Those who blame her are also the ones who search her on Google for their own pleasure. A lot of people are obsessed with Sunny Leone but no one wants to accept this. Sunny Leone chose to stay in India and pursue her career as an actress. We need to understand that a single person can never ruin the culture of any country. Sunny Leone was not the one who introduced item songs in Bollywood. Many big actresses dance on these item songs.
